Code of Conduct
This Code of Conduct defines the principles and expectations for all instructors, partners, and contributors of Bcation. Its purpose is to ensure objective, responsible, and high-quality Bitcoin education.
Core Principles
Bcation stands for Bitcoin-only education. Content related to altcoins, trading, derivatives, or speculative strategies is not part of the curriculum. The focus is on education, understanding, and personal responsibility, not on promises of profit. Instructors must always act objectively, respectfully, and transparently.
Neutrality and Independence
Teaching must be conducted in a neutral manner and without sales pressure. References to tools or solutions (e.g., wallets, hardware devices, on-ramps) must always be clearly identified as personal experience and do not constitute a recommendation. In the area of on-ramps, Bcation works with Relai, and in the area of self-custody with BitBox. These solutions are presented because they meet Bcation’s educational and quality standards. This does not constitute a purchase recommendation. The code to be used with Relai and BitBox is exclusively “BCATION.” This code is mandatory and must be used exclusively. It is used solely to measure success factors such as reach, usage, and the effectiveness of educational offerings. The use of other codes, affiliate links, referral programs, or comparable incentive systems is not permitted.

Security and Responsibility
Security, self-custody, and the protection of privacy are top priorities. Private keys, seed phrases, or other sensitive participant data must never be requested, stored, or shared. The chosen online teaching format is designed to protect the privacy of participants. Instructors actively highlight risks, personal responsibility, and common mistakes.
Interaction with Participants
Participants must be treated with respect regardless of their prior knowledge, background, or financial situation. Questions should be taken seriously and answered clearly and understandably. No financial promises, profit expectations, or performance statements may be made.
Teaching and Didactics
Content must be delivered clearly, in a structured and practice-oriented manner. Live demonstrations must be understandable and must not expose participants to risks. Personal opinions must always be clearly separated from factual information.
Swissness and Professionalism
Bcation is guided by Swiss values such as quality, reliability, discretion, and responsibility. Appearance, communication, and teaching materials must be professional and clear. Confidential information about Bcation, its partners, or participants must always be protected.
Conflicts of Interest
Potential conflicts of interest (e.g., investments or business relationships) must be disclosed. Instructors may not actively promote their own services or products.
Commitment and Compliance
Agreed appointments and preparation requirements must be respected. If an instructor is unable to attend, early notification is required. Violations of this Code of Conduct may result in the termination of the collaboration.
Language Version
This German version shall be authoritative. An English translation may be provided for informational purposes. In the event of discrepancies, only the German version shall be binding. By collaborating with Bcation, instructors acknowledge this Code of Conduct and commit to acting in accordance with its principles.
